Dreamland joins WOMEX 2026 for the third consecutive year

For the third consecutive year, Dreamland Digital has been selected for the international WOMEX mission through InvestSP’s CreativeSP programme. WOMEX 2026 (Worldwide Music Expo) will take place from 21 to 25 October in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain.

A major international meeting point for the global music sector, WOMEX brings together artists, agents, festivals, curators and cultural institutions. For Dreamland, taking part is part of an ongoing effort to build connections and broaden opportunities for independent Brazilian music to reach new audiences.

The agency will be represented by Vida Walkíria, a co-owner of Dreamland Digital. She has more than 17 years of experience in communications and online media, including eight years leading communication projects and teams, particularly within the independent cultural sector.

Throughout her career, she has been committed to strengthening women-led projects in music. In 2026, she also took part in Sebrae-SP’s Crie Música programme as a workshop facilitator and mentor to independent artists.

Dreamland’s record label on the international stage

WOMEX also offers an opportunity to introduce the work of the Dreamland label and the artists supported by the agency: Marissol Mwaba, Joana Castanheira, Jade Faria and Preta Ary.

With distinct sounds, identities and repertoires, these artists reflect the range of creative paths supported by the label. The mission aims to connect their work with professionals who can build bridges between Brazil and cultural networks abroad.

Connections that help music travel

Beyond attending an international trade fair, the mission is an opportunity to meet agents, festivals, curators and cultural institutions, understand shifts in the industry and develop relationships that may lead to future projects and partnerships.

The goal is to create more avenues for the communication and circulation of independent Brazilian artists while respecting the identity and stage of each career.
